Visa Japan is running another tap-to-pay cashback campaign, June 11 – July 19, 2026 (may end early).
Do you qualify? Any Visa card + an iPhone/Apple Watch with Apple Pay. That’s it.
What to do
Register your card with “Visa Wari” (email + card number), add it to Apple Pay, then pay ¥1,000+ in one go by tapping. Each tap = one cashback draw. Up to 25 draws per card.
What you actually get: It’s a lottery, not flat cashback. Per qualifying tap you win
¥500 (1%), ¥100 (8%), or — 91% of the time — ¥5.
Realistically that’s ~¥400 total across all 25 taps, not the “up to ¥500” the ads imply. New cards (no Visa use in the last 6 months) get their first draw doubled.
You have to do each draw manually within 10 days of the email, or you lose it. Check your issuer too — SMBC, MUFG Bank, MUFG Nicos, and Rakuten Card have extra bonuses stacked on top.
